Salami and Cheese “Antipasticks”

These skewers add a whimsical flair to a classic and delicious pairing. These Italian appetizers are the perfect accompaniment for your next wine and cheese party.

Ingredients:
4 ounces Volpini Sliced Salami
4 ounces mozzarella cheese
4 ounces green and black olives
1/2 cup grape tomatoes
1 box of long toothpicks
Olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation:
Place olives and tomatoes in a bowl and seasoned with olive oil, salt and pepper to taste. Cut cheese in cubes.  Place slice of salami, cheese, salami, tomato, salami and olive on the toothpick.  Serve with crisp white wine and crackers.

Suggested beverage pairing: Chianti Classico Wine, Pinot Grigio Wine, California Pinot Noir, Barbera, Dry Rosé , Verdicchio
